ABC Program
Get on the Fast Track to a Great Career!
The Accelerated Basics Course (ABC) Program is a 20-week, paid training program intended to develop the skills of entry-level service technicians for the industrial engine and petroleum markets. The program is comprised of two training modules designed to give students a well-rounded knowledge of Cat® engine products and to develop their technical skills. The modules are split with equal time dedicated to classroom training and practical hands-on shop time applying the principles learned. Students who successfully complete the program are given the opportunity to begin a career as a certified Cat service technician for engines, working on small components to large petroleum packages.
ABC training sessions are held at the Francis Tuttle Technology Center located in Oklahoma City, OK. The center offers two training session per year. Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming session.
